Hi. Welcome to robwilsonmd.com. I am an Otolaryngologist, commonly known as an Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) physician and surgeon. I practice within a small private practice group, ENT Specialists PLLC, that serves the Bluegrass region of Kentucky, with offices in Georgetown, Frankfort, and Lexington. You can view our website at www.entspec.com . I also care for patients at the Saint Joseph London ENT Center in London, KY. My practice consists of General ENT, but my interest and expertise is centered around pediatric ENT treatments, nasal and sinus disorders, chronic ear infections and hearing loss, and facial skin cancer surgery. I attempt to provide the highest quality medical care, using the most current research and surgical techniques, but also to care for each individual patient as if they were a member of my family.
The idea to start this website was given to me by a young patient, who showed me a wonderful picture she had drawn of her family beach vacation. As an amateur artist, I then shared with her an oil painting I had done of a beach in the Gulf coast. She smiled and immediately said “You can paint? I thought you were just a doctor.” Her comments struck a cord with me. While I am passionate about my work as a physician, there are a lot of other components of me that many of my patients do not get to see or know. Thus, with the help of my talented and computer-savvy brother-in-law, this website was born. The purpose of it is not only to “get to know your doctor better”, but also to provide current and trustworthy medical information to patients suffering with a disorder of the ENT.
